The last 2 years some of my biggest community service was contributed to the annual Westwood Bocce Ball tournament. This tournament gives those with special needs a chance to feel great and have fun, and that's why I love it so much. I have always felt a passion for working with those with special needs, and it always helps me appreciate the gifts that God has given me. At the same time, they can still be included to do things just like us, and that's why we do this.

This year was a big year for me in community service I once again worked with the school on the bocce ball tournament. However, I didn't expect a tornado to hit Albany that would shake our Southwest Georgia community. I knew immediately that I had to help contribute to relief. First, I helped package lunches to help feed EMC workers who were overworked trying to help the area regain power. Then, I actually went to Albany with one of my youth groups to help with actual clean up of the damage. At my other church, we packaged canned goods to help those in need. This year's volunteer work was an enriching experience for me.
